The apartment

This completely renovated 33 m² apartment sits on a quiet side street in the Japanese quarter of downtown Düsseldorf, with restaurants, pubs, supermarkets and shops right around the corner.

The living and sleeping area is bright and tastefully furnished: a wide king-size bed, a sofa bed and a long wall shelf with a work space and TV. By the window there is a dining table for two, plus a standing table for a quick morning coffee.

The modern fitted kitchen with dark high-gloss fronts is good for proper cooking, and the shower room with rain shower is up to date. This makes the apartment a good fit for longer work assignments or your first months in Düsseldorf.

The apartment is on the second floor and reachable by lift. The washing machine in the basement is for our guests only.

Arrival and departure

Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 11:00. We agree the exact time with you beforehand.

By car

Street parking: free in the evening and overnight, pay-and-display during the day. The apartment is in a low-emission zone, so you need a green sticker (Umweltplakette).

Public transport

Rheinbahn and VRR timetables and tickets are available online and as an app.

Terms

Rent	Monthly all-inclusive rent covering utilities (electricity, heating, water), Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels. Prices are for one person; a second person costs extra.
Length of stay	Usually 6 months or longer, shorter on request. Minimum stay 2 months. Stays under 6 months carry a surcharge, because VAT for short-term accommodation then applies.
Billing	In your first and last month, stays of up to 14 days are charged at half a month's rent, 15 days or more at the full rent.
Deposit	€1,500 per apartment.
Payment	The first month's rent and the deposit are due on booking.
Registration	Official address registration (Anmeldung) is possible at all apartments.
Smoking	All apartments are non-smoking. If someone smokes anyway, we charge a flat €1,000 for the special cleaning.
Cancellation (direct booking)	Up to 60 days before the start of the tenancy, we refund the first month's rent in full. Between 59 and 31 days before, we refund 50% of the first month's rent. From 30 days before, the first month's rent is charged. We always do our best to re-let the apartment for the booked period. If we succeed, we of course charge no cancellation fee.
